Our good friend Teresa(left) passed away at the weekend, she was a lovely lady and always there with advice on stitches and a smile to cheer the blues, although she had not been to our group in a while she is still very close to our hearts and will be greatly missed

This weeks group came with the sad news that our Friend and member Nell had passed away, Her funeral will take place on Monday 13th February at 11AM in the Salthill Church Galway.

I have been contacted by a group of women visiting from Canada on Monday 3rd October 2011 who would like to meet with us for dinner and some knitting - for those interested please contact me - I have told the women that The Menlo Hotel would be a great spot for a meal and stitching but I am waiting to hear back on that.
